Listed A to Z. The order is not a ranking.

Also listing related industries (home services, contractors, construction): Telyn, Smith.ai, NextPhone, Ruby.

A vendor listing your industry doesn't mean it handles your calls well. That's what our tests are for.

The calls we'll make

We'll set up "Test Heating & Air" with the same facts in every product, then call it five ways:

  1. Booking: a customer wants a furnace tune-up next week.
  2. Price question: "How much is a service call, and do you work weekends?"
  3. Urgent: no heat in winter with a young child at home. Does it treat it as urgent and follow the rule?
  4. Asks for a person: "I want to talk to a technician."
  5. Hard caller: background noise, interruptions, and a corrected unit type midway.

Every call will be recorded. Our caller will open with: "Hi, this is a test call from BotsRanked, and it's being recorded." Full test plan

What matters for HVAC companies

  • Seasonal spikes. A heat wave or cold snap brings a rush of calls at once.
  • Telling an emergency (no heat, no cooling) apart from a routine booking.
  • Getting the equipment type and address right for dispatch.
